Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire

On Friday June 23, 2017 the VMFD was dispatched on a report of heavy smoke coming from a commercial structure located at 158 Mamaroneck Ave. Upon arrival, a confirmed structure fire was transmitted and all responding units and members went to work. Mutual aid was requested from the Town of Mamaroneck Fire Department for their FAST team and Port Chester and Harrison FD were dispatched to VMFD HQ's for backup. Mamaroneck EMS responded and remained present until the incident was declared under control by Chief Tracey Schmaling.
The incident was brought under control by members on scene without any major incident or injury.
