At 1:30am on January 31, 2023, our Volunteers were alerted to a reported fire at 640 Mamaroneck Avenue. This 3-story residential over commercial structure houses a bakery on the first floor, and 8 apartments on the upper floors.
Personnel sprang into action to locate the fire on the top floor leading to the roof, as well as waking and evacuating approximately 25 residents without other incident. Units were on scene for approximately 3 hours with the Westchester County Cause and Origin team and the Village of Mamaroneck Building Department.
