On April 20th, 2021 the Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department was called into service to combat multiple working fires that occured within hours of each other.

Through the dedicated efforts of our members who responded that day, each fire was brought under control and damage was contained. Thankfully there were no in injuires to report and each fore was not deemed to be suspicious in nature. While we are thankful that there were no injuries, our thoughts go out to a local family sadly were the victims of the fire and lost a good portion of all of their personal possessions. Our thoughts are with them for a quick recovery. We are lucky enough to live in a great community that sprung into action and has begun efforts to assist the family in their time of need.

The VMFD is thankful for the generous assitance from mutual aid departments that responded from around the sound shore community including Port Chester, Harrison,Purchase, Mamroneck EMS, Larchmont VAC ,and the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department, that assisted in bringing all of the incidents under control.
