Ask your mom, dad or another grown-up to sit down with you and make a fire escape plan! You'll need to get a piece of paper or grid paper if you have it and draw a
floor plan of your home, showing all the rooms.
On this plan draw arrows from each room, showing two escape routes out of each room, using the windows and doors.
Don't forget to choose a meeting place that everyone can remember! The meeting place should be safe and easy to get to and also permanent - such as a tree or a streetlight. |
