The Men and Women of the Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department were in place and ready to respond during the "BombCyclone" Nor'Easter that took place on March 2nd, 2018 and Nor'Easter snow event that took place on March 7th, 2018 . The village sustained widespread damage as a result of these storms during which the VMFD responded to approximately 65 calls for service ranging from reports of live wires on the ground, Odors of gas in businesses and dwellings, to fire alarms being activated.
The Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department stands ready to respond 24 hours a day seven days a week. We are constantly looking at ways to better serve the residents of the Village of Mamaroneck. As a result, we are always keeping up top date on the latest training and response methods.
We here at the VMFD are proud to call ourselves residents of the "Friendly Village" and are committed to serve those who call when the need arises!
